Did some more cruising on the planks yesterday. A co-worker, her friend's dog and myself laid down 7.5k right before work. t'was a nice workout. My legs were a bit sore. The tracks were a little icy, but would get noticeably better the farther we got from town on the rail trail.
Last weekend, we did some AIARE level 1 avalanche training. Work involves some back country travel to get to remote sites during the winter, weather it be by ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile. It was a really good course. We learned a lot, had a good time outside, etc. Time to go rock the back country.... safely.
